I occasionally enjoy cooking, but I always love food… So it should come to no surprise that most meals I prepare require minimal time and rely instead on healthy, quality ingredients. And the last thing I want to do when leaving work is spend an hour in a boring grocery store pouring over some endless list. I know there are an abundance of ‘quick and easy’ recipes online, but these new Frontera recipes were shockingly good (and easy) so I had to share them. My favorite is the shrimp tacos and this is how I prepared them:
10 Minute (delicious) Shrimp Tacos-
1-2 lb peeled, deveined medium shrimp
(1) poblano pepper
(1) red onion, thinly sliced
(1)packet key lime cilantro taco skillet sauce
(1) package of Low fat wheat tortillas
- Cook Onion and Poblano Pepper in 1 tablespoon of oil in large nonstick skillet until tender. Add shrimp; continue and and stir until opaque, 2-4 min.
- Stir sauce into skillet, heat through.
- Serve in warm tortillas with chopped cilantro and enjoy!
